2. Categories will be fought off in pools, and then in a knockout if necessary

3. Weight categories may merge or change, if there are insufficient entries in individual weight categories

4. The referee’s decision is final

5. Contest times will not be less than 2 minutes

6. Suitable footwear must be worn by all competitors when coming to, or leaving the mat area

7. Drinks must not be brought to the mat. Water will be provided

8. All championship rules are subject to the discretion of the NLA Representatives

9. Strictly NO mat side coaching allowed

10. The wearing of blue or any other judogi, whether as a single colour or reversible white and blue, is not allowed at any BJC competition, grading or course. No shoulder or back patches are permitted. White Judogi only.
