This event is open to all BJA and BJC players of any grade and over 14 years of age. Judoka will have the opportunity to be coached in either Ju-no kata or Kodokan Goshin Jutsu.

The course will be tutored by members of the current Great Britain Kata Team and will cover the current IJF standard of competitive kata. Although no prior experience in kata is necessary, a basic understanding would be an advantage to all participants, and will help the day flow smoothly, allowing the tutors to cover all the required material.

This is an excellent opportunity to learn a new kata, or to further develop skills in kata, and receive tuition from Judoka who currently compete at European and World level, with access to the most up to date IJF scoring criteria.
